79th Street Streetscape

Soodan & Associates, Inc. is providing Phase II architectural and engineering services to the City of Chicago Department of Transportation for the preparation of contract documents for 79th Street Streetscape project from Ashland Avenue to Wallace Avenue. The City of Chicago has identified certain infrastructure improvements for 79th Street to facilitate the beautification of the neighborhood and economic growth of the area. Some of the planned improvements include new street lighting, sidewalks, street improvements, curbs and gutters, planters, landscaping and general streetscaping.

These separate bid packages are being developed to bid the project in three separate phases:

Soodan & Associates, Inc. is providing architectural and engineering services to develop designs for the rejuvenation of commercial frontage areas as conceived in the neighborhood commercial improvement plans developed in conjunction with local Chambers of Commerce, City representatives, elected officials and community groups.
